How I Base My Pricing

I base the prices of my commissions and regular pieces on how much estimated time and effort it will take to complete them. More often than not, the more details there are, the more it’s going to cost. Pretty self-explanatory. Also, I am more comfortable with traditional art, but I will still do digital for a slight extra cost. I am extremely lenient with the subjects of commissions and I’m always willing to negotiate. I’ve listed some base prices for commissions below with 2 examples of each category using art I’ve made in the past.

Categories of What I Specialize In

Scenes

Brief Description: Observing any situation/interaction from inside or outside of it. May involve characters as well. The prices are on number of main subjects that the piece will focus on alongside the complexity of the piece.

Example scene 1: This has one subject and is fairly simplistic, so I’d price this at around $40

Example scene 2: This has one main subject with a number of other subjects. It’s very complex and took a lot of time. I’d ask for $115 for this if it were a commission.

Characters

Brief description: Any character from any show, anime, book, game, OC’s, fursonas, you name it. Can also be portraits of real people or character sheets.

Example characters: These are human versions of Silver and Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog video games. I’d ask for $10 each, or $15 for both

Example portrait: This is a posterized portrait of Markiplier. I’d ask for $55 for this one.

Metaphorical

Brief Description: A moment, emotion, or aspect of your or someone else’s life depicted through one or more subjects/objects. You could have a subject or object in mind, or I can talk with you to decide what object I think would suit your specific needs.

Connects to you personally in many ways	$50 – $70

Example Metaphor 1: this represents how I feel as an eldest sibling. It has one subject, so It’d be $25.

Example Metaphor 2: this represents how technology has kept me connected to my youngest sister since she spent the summer with her dad. There’s two subjects, so it’d be $30
